I am delighted to have received a copy of the doctoral dissertation of the brilliant scientist Dr. Bethel Tesfai Embaie at Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. My drawing “Immunofluorescence staining of neuroblastoma” was created specifically for a cover. The thesis focuses on delineating the cellular heterogeneity of neuroblastoma models for identifying therapeutically targetable vulnerabilities. The aim is to investigate cellular heterogeneity and clonality in neuroblastoma and preclinical models.

The drawing has been featured in an exhibition of “New Drawings” juried by MoMA Curator Samantha Friedman at the Kentler International Drawing Space in Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York, from 14 June to 20 July 2025.
